Las Vegas
Now you’re in Vegas. Sure. But, are you? With tons of places to visits and probably a pile of money to burn, it pays to know how you can get yourself from A to B in this part of the world. Las Vegas, fortunately, is teeming with various means to roam around the city.
Shuttle and Rental Service
A nice, inexpensive and fairly practical way to get to your hotel is to ride the airline shuttle service. The shuttle service costs $10, and if you want a return ticket from the airport, arrange it in advance. There are also private shuttle services that can help you move around in Vegas. If you are into driving, rent-a-car facilities are at your disposal.
Las Vegas Monorail
If you want to take the monorail, you can stop by the eastern side of the Vegas Strip from 7 am to 2 am the following day. It offers individual and group as well as multi-day ticket sales. Ride the rail to experience a different view of the city, from the Sahara Hotel to the MGM Grand Hotel.
Taxis
Lots of taxis roam around the city, and you can ride around the Vegas Strip and Vegas Downtown for $3.30 flag down and $2.65 metered rate per mile.
Limousine
If you want to travel and be noticed around Vegas, you can have yourself carried by a limousine around the city. Prices vary depending on the service and the type of vehicle to be used, but it usually starts at $35 an hour.
Rent a Car
Having your own car is easy and practical around the city. While parking is not allowed on The Strip and some blocks in the Fremont area, there are valet services available at all the major hotels in Vegas.
